Following his sold-out record release show, SXSW performance and special guest appearances with Robin Trower, Terry Robb returns to the stage of Waterfront Blues Festival to showcase his all-star band and new album Confessin’ My Dues. Robb, a multi award-winning fingerstyle blues guitarist and record producer, is joined by renowned jazz musicians Gary Hobbs and Dave Captein, and rising blues guitarist Adam Scramstad, whose skillful playing are featured throughout the album.

On Confessin’ My Dues, his 15th solo recording, ROBB draws on his deep knowledge of Delta blues, ragtime and swing in 13 original compositions ranging from blistering instrumental blues and stunning ragtime fingerpicking to soulful singing backed by a powerhouse rhythm section. The album boasts three Oregon Music Hall of Fame inductees: Robb, Captein and veteran sound engineer Dennis Carter. From country blues to Coltrane, ragtime to Hendrix, Americana to American Primitivism, Confessin’ My Dues will captivate listeners with its melodic and rhythmic invention and musical virtuosity.

“Every release that Terry Robb puts out is a cause to celebrate,” says Greg Johnson, president, Cascade Blues Association. “Confessin’ My Dues is yet another example of Terry Robb doing what he does best – leaving us with a sense of awe and joy with every note he plays. It’s a winning formula that continues to lead the pack.”
