TY CURTIS has a Blues mojo that is alive and kickin’, a natural musical treat for all that stand before his stage. His offerings have a throwback Rock ‘n Roll flair with an undeniable southern-fried ambiance. Blended, it all adds up to the authenticity of his blues rock style. His explosion of emotion-power-packed performances captures the undivided attention of audiences with tantalizing guitar fret-work and highly intellectual lyrics. “TY CURTIS is a triple threat, since he is the band’s lead singer, as well as the primary composer of their material, and thirdly he’s a sonically incendiary, string-shredding electric guitar player” – Bluesrockreview

Ty has been winning awards for his vocals and musicianship for the last 10 years and is excited to be pairing and welcoming to the Northwest for the first time top Austin TX guitar slinger & singer, DAVE SCHER.

Austin’s own DAVE SCHER is a current staple in the Texas live music scene. Working as a sideman for various independent artists and many different cover/function bands, Dave is involved every waking day in the performance of his own or someone else’s music. He has released two full-length albums of his own material and has been performing his music around the Austin area for several years, both as a singer/songwriter and guitar slinger. “One of the best guitar players I’ve ever heard …”   – Van Wilkes, “Texas Music Hall of Fame

The set will highlight Dave and Ty’s original songs, exceptional vocals and killer guitar playing. This will be the first time Ty & Dave will be performing together in a festival setting, this is a performance that you won’t want to miss!

“Ty’s energy packed live shows draw from the rich blues tradition, but he has taken blues in new directions”- Roots Time, Belgian Blues Magazine.
