Silent Partners —Tony Coleman, drums; Russell Jackson, bass; Andrew Jr. Boy Jones, guitar—have been friends for a lifetime and can trace their mutual musical lineage to decades in the employ of B.B. King, Bobby Bland, Johnny Taylor, Freddie King, and Charlie Musselwhite (with whom they performed at WBF-1999). Now sadly a pedigree that can no longer be found. A style and grace, an energy and expression, derived from literally tens of thousands of nights on the road. With their Little Village release, Changing Times (due for release this June), the raw energy combined with tried and true experience removes all doubt as to its pedigree.
